Urine Drug Testing

Urine Test For  Commonly Abused Drugs

The oldest and most commonly used method of drug testing is the urine drug test. A Synthetic urine test is usually the least expensive and fastest method of testing for drug use. Some of the advantages of urine drug testing are that the tests are minimally invasive and safe.

Testing centers are usually close to a specific company and visits are often short. A potential employee just has to go in and sign a few releases and then pee in a cup. In most cases, an employee can partially close the restroom door to maintain privacy. Since many urine tests can detect masking substances, the need to urinate in full company is virtually eliminated. The entire process usually takes just 20 minutes, and employers can receive results within hours.

Although synthetic urine  is the most common of the pre-employment drug screens, many creative scientists have developed tools to beat these tests. A wide range of products can be easily purchased online and in specialty stores. There have even been some reported cases of people buying urine from “clean” partners and using the clean urine in their own drug testing. Clean urine is stored in a thin plastic bag, boiled, tied to the leg and appears as urine.

When drug testing labs began testing masking agents, synthetic urine was developed. Urine is often released as a powder, but it can also be in liquid, ready-to-use form. The powder is mixed with water and comes in a container with a thermometer attached. A fresh temperature is guaranteed for up to several hours. This synthetic urine has all the properties that are tested in the laboratory. Certain body temperatures and chemicals normally present in human urine are detected and can be very convincing.

Although urine drug testing is readily available, minimally invasive and relatively inexpensive, many employers realize that it is also the easiest to evade. Because of the variety of methods used to cheat urine tests, many employers choose to use sweat, saliva, or hair follicle tests instead. These other methods may not be as convenient or inexpensive, but are usually more reliable. And if the temperature is too high or too low, the test result will be rejected. So, make sure you keep the pad attached to the urine bottle. This will help you maintain the required temperature.
